Sculpture , variable dimensions

"One was killed for beauty, the other one was shot, the two others died naturally"  is a sound piece and installation written by Els Dietvorst.
It was part of her solo exhibition in Argos, Brussels, May 2014 and was re-installed in MUZEE/Ostend during her expo Wintrum Ford in 2019.

Inspired by her life at the farm and texts from Goethe, Goya and the Gilgamesh, Dietvorst writes a fairytale and transforms it into a sound installation. In a dark room, 4 animals are shown as the main character. The animals are stuffed and all had their life on the farm. They are brought to life by a light installation, projected drawings and a sound piece.
